- We are in the most recent harvest in orchard, now we are proceeding to the posting of Winter red apples, Zeukas, Naranzins and other antique varieties;
- The characteristic of these last apples harvest is the conservation; they can, in fact, maintain until the next Spring, without the need of cold storage, and it is no small thing;
- These varieties of antique apples, in the far 1800, were sold and transported in faraway lands, as proved by acts and pictures conserved both in Pordenone and in Carnia;
- It is important to notice that in that time did not exist the current vehicles and even the less the transport. But the market required this, for their substance, but especially for their perfume and taste… a masterpiece that pleased the palate.
