Last weekend took place in Tolmezzo “IL FILO DEI SAPORI”, sponsored by Ersa Fvg and Uti of Carnia, where we wanted to underline the traditional heritage of mountain’s area; about 40 factories have exposed their specialty… including antique apples and their derivatives, present in many stands… All this make us thinking that there is an interest in rediscovering the antique varieties of our territory!
I end adding a sentence told by one of my favorite costumers:
IT IS TRUE THAT EDELWEISS AND THE QUEEN OF THE ALPS DO NOT GROW UP IN LOWLAND, BUT IS ALSO TRUE THAT YOU CAN PICK-UP ANTIQUE APPLES THAT HAVE THESE PERFUME AND TASTE ONLY IN MOUNTAIN.
